In 2019 I won a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship to travel the world for a year, doing an independent study of comics communities. I spent August, 2019 to March, 2020 in Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Japan, and Germany.
I’m currently working on comics based on interviews and experiences from this trip.
